good. Except for the fact that they're demanding him for everything. The last weekend , the phone call, the welcome back party, the 10 day leave . & to make it worse he goes with it.. its like her forgot about everything I did for him. its irritating :(

I’m sorry you feel this way. Chances are he’s just enjoying the attention while he can get it. I don’t think he’s forgotten everything you did for him. As a middle child I relish in what attention I can get. When you go with out it it’s nice to know they appreciate you. Talk to him. Explain to him how you feel that your being left out and forgotten. I really don’t think that’s his intention.

I miss the cute lovely dovey stage of my relationship. Its like were kinda just talking like friends now. Its summer and i feel anything i do when im with my friends he gets too protective. Like i went swimming yesterday with my crew and it was at one of my guy friends house or if im with any guy thats my friend he gets all pissy. He knows i dont want any one else. And i only want him. Just reassure him he’s what you want. It’ll take a little time but he will soon see it. Try to be more lovey with him. Flirt more, remind him how you feel. He could be acting this way because he’s feeling insecure. It could be things that are going on in his life, it could be anything. If you pick up the cute lovey stuff he might too.

My boyfriends getting stationed at 29 palms friday, we live 3 hours from there. i was talking to a friend who is stationed there and he said he might take my boyfriend home this weekend but not sure. He said my boyfriend asked for rides home but didnt say anything bout this weekend. Im gonna be in palm springs this weekend so i wouldnt be able to see him. Should i be mad that my boyfriend didnt say anything to me at all about him possibly being home this weekend or its not a big deal?

He might have wanted to surprise you. But it’s ok to feel upset. Don’t think being emotional isn’t ok. You might feel dumb later on for some of the things you got upset over. But at the time it was important to you and it’s ok. Talk to him. Maybe he didn’t want to say anything until it was official.

... Before he leaves, but with his mom basically holding him captive I don't really know what to do, and since he's doing Basic and AIT at one time he's gone longer. I wanna see him more but idk what to do about his mom.. I don't want to hurt her but I should be able to see him too. I don't want to be mean to her so I really don't know what to do..

Have you tried talking to him? Or even his mom. Explain yourself and try to stand your ground. There’s a compromise here but don’t hold back your feelings you might regret it.

What is your view on getting married young in the military. For example, my boyfriend, 18, is in boot but he graduates july 3. I,17, leave to boot next January and i know if we don't get married, we'll probably be apart from each other all the time. I really love this guy, but I'm not sure wether we should get married right after, or perhaps before, i leave to boot? Or wait ? >.< Any advice?

Personally. Wait. I’m not married so I won’t be offended if you think my opinion is dumb but I’m not a fan of children getting married. At 18 and 17 you have your ENTIRE lives ahead of you. You’ve barely seen the world and aren’t experienced enough to know what you want out of life. You can stay in contact and I honestly feel if you want to be together you can both make it work as long as you’re trying. In your case it might be best to see how a year goes with your schedules. Things change after basic and schoolings. 17 and 18 is just way too young in my opinion. There’s a lot you’ll learn about yourself in your 20s and chances are 9 out of 10 times its not what you wanted in high school.

My boyfriend and I talk everyday but usually we will talk for a little while then we'll stop responding for like 4 or 5 hours and sometimes he'll just go to bed cuz he will have to. I dont want us to grow apart or become distant but we run out of things to say to each other so we'll go hours without talking then we'll start up again. Is that normal or okay? I dont know if im just over thinking cuz he told me before we run out of things to say after awhile.

There’s always something to talk about its typical that he’d have to stop talking for work or to sleep. But as long as you two keep talking and reminding each other of your feelings for one another you’ll be ok.

Im really irritated with my boyfriend right now. A girl we know just graduated marine bootcamp and she posts pictures and status on facebook and instagram and he always likes them. I know she just got back but it bothers me he always has to like them even if other friends post them of her he'll like them. She has a boyfriend but they hooked ip before we went out thats why it bothers me. Should i say something to him or just ignore it?

I would just ignore it, I mean he’s not actually talking or commenting and flirting with her right? I wouldn’t worry, its facebook and she has a bf so its nothing to worry or be concerned about (: Trust me I know how you feel, but I advise picking and choose arguments or when to say something is bothering you, cause sometimes it will cause pointless arguing and maybe after a while he’ll stop liking her stuff anyways.

This is just kind of an opinion type of thing, but here goes. My boyfriend just recently got to AIT at Fort Lee. July 4th is coming up in a few weeks. Do you think there are any chances of him getting time off or even an off base pass? Thanks. :)

Most likely. I know Alex was able to go off base. Where it is a holiday I would be almost sure. The only thing that could be holding him back is the phase he is in.
